How to care for your Kiara Crystal Elixir Water Bottle
To ensure you look after your bottle in the best possible way, make sure you read our instructions below:
1. Prepare
Unscrew the lid and the crystal base from the bottle to split the bottle into 3 parts:
1. Lid with handle
2. Glass Cylinder
3. Base of bottle with attached crystal
2. HAND WASH ONLY
The lid, silicone rings (found in the lid), and crystal base are HAND WASH ONLY. They are NOT Dishwasher safe. We recommend washing these by hand in warm soapy water. Do not use chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
(Note: ONLY the glass cylinder, is dishwasher safe. However, due to its fragile nature, we strongly recommend you also hand wash this to avoid it being broken by other items in the dishwasher).
3. Take Care
Please take care when washing your bottle. Due to the fragile nature of the bottle it must be handled with care. Avoid impacts, blows, or strokes. Do not drop the bottle. Do not freeze, boil, microwave, or put the bottle in the oven. Avoid temperatures below 45°F and above 95°F. Be careful not to change the temperature of the bottle too quickly as this may cause the glass to crack.
Be mindful. Do not place the bottle under your arm to carry, make sure you use the carry strap on the lid to avoid dropping the bottle. Handle the bottle with care and where possible, always try to use the protective Neoprene sleeve included with every purchase.
4. Important Information
Please take care with the silicone seal inside the lid and crystal base when washing the bottle. These are NOT dishwasher safe.
The silicone rings have a smooth and rougher side. The rougher side faces the glass part of the bottle whilst the smoother side faces the lid. Make sure the silicone ring is flattened and levelled in the base of the lid.
If you find your bottle is leaking, this is because the silicone ring is not adjusted properly on the bottom of the bottle. Simply pour the water out of the bottle first and then unscrew the crystal base and adjust the silicone ring. Make sure the silicone ring is sitting properly in the lid and screw the base back on to ensure it is level and screwed on tightly.
5. Neoprene Sleeve
HAND WASH the Neoprene sleeve just as you would with delicate items. Wash gently in warm soapy water. Squeeze out any dirty water and allow it to soak for a little longer or overnight if especially dirty. Rinse repeatedly until no more bubbles or suds appear and leave to dry. Wash the Neoprene sleeve regularly to keep it looking clean.
