“I was going to buy another crystal bottle from a different vendor but their price tag came with a whopping 90 USD so I was delighted to find this model.
When I was looking around for the bottles, I read quite a few reviews on other vendor’s crystal bottles that the bottle leaked or even broke, which was a great concern but since Kiara bottle came with ‘satisfaction guarantee’ I decided to order it and I am so glad that I did!
The glass bottle feels and looks well made and sturdy. I shook the bottle vigorously after firmly closing the top & bottom but nothing leaked out even after shaking.
My other concern was the size of the crystal. In the description picture, it looked rather small and I was worried that I might receive a tiny, thin crystal but as you can see from my pictures, it’s a perfect size and any bigger would have meant I would not be able to carry much water in it.
I did notice that there is a very small corner of the crystal is missing at the bottom but it’s so small & hardly noticeable. The crystal is also little clouded (not perfectly clear) but I actually quite like the cloudiness as it actually looks very pretty & if it’s completely transparent, the crystal won’t show at all.
To summarise, here are the pros and cons:
Pros
1. Beautiful crystal & bottle - it looks amazing even when just sitting on my desk!
2. Very well made: Sturdy & leak-free.
3. No plastic or harmful materials - saves on buying plastic bottles & eco-friendly.
4. Parts can be removed so you can give it a good wash.
5. Unlike other models, Kiara bottle’s logo is subtle on the actual bottle (it’s on the cap) & I love how it doesn’t get in the way of the crystal. If you want to show off the brand, I can put the sleeve (cover) so I love how I have a choice :)
Cons:
1. It’s sturdy (glass & stainless steel) so it comes with a bit of weight compared to other plastic bottles.
2. The bottle is made of 3 compartments (cap, glass & bottom) so it can be quite fiddly to clean, especially the rubber rings (can be removed but tricky to pluck out of the caps) and the strap which won’t come off so if you get it wet, it will take a few minutes to dry.
3. No insulation so the bottle won’t stay cool even with the cover on.
I used to use 100% stainless steel insulated bottles but moulds kept on growing at the bottom of the bottles and had to use harsh chemicals like bleach to properly remove them which actually damaged the bottle and had to throw it away over time. I’m really happy that this bottle can be cleaned out properly and it looks so beautiful.
After using this for a few days now, I really don’t think a little more weight and less insulation matter too much when I can carry such an amazing bottle to stay hydrated while saving the planet by reducing plastic waste. I got so many compliments and I will definitely recommend this to all my friends & families.”
“I absolutely love this water bottle! I came across Kiara Crystal on Instagram and decided to check them out on Amazon, and I’m so glad I did! The bottle came in beautiful packaging- the photos do not do it justice! The crystal on the inside of the bottle was well protected and covered in bubble wrap. I really love how the crystal looks inside the water bottle and have had lots of compliments. Unlike other bottles I have looked at Kiara crystal actually touches the water so you really get those healing benefits! The base of the crystal is removable which makes it easy to clean and there are instructions included in the packaging insert on how to clean and cleanse the crystal which is super helpful. Also, the neoprene sleeve covers the whole of the bottle unlike other competitors I was looking at, which is awesome as it provides more protection to the glass. “I was gifted a Kiara Crystal Water Bottle, I’m so very lucky! I washed it out, put some Brita filtered water in it and went off to work. The bottle is extremely easy to clean, it comes in 3 pieces, the cap, glass bottle and the bottom which also screws off. You can put the glass bottle in the dishwasher and hand wash the crystal which is attached to the base with food grade stainless steel. It comes with a removable neoprene sleeve which protects the glass and seems to keep my water cool during the day. This is a very user friendly and well thought out product.
